We have 6 other vintage Gispen 1235 chairs, beautiful vintage design furniture. They have to be reupholstered. This vintage chair can also be used as a Gispen office chair. And is almost as comfortable as a Gispen armchair.

From the Gispen Collection: A universal four-legged chair with armrests. The chair frame was available in two versions; chrome plated (no. 1235) or painted and stove enamelled (no. 1236). The frame continued behind the back and acted as a practical handle. The seat and back were available in beech, veneered or upholstered. This four-legged chair was also available without armrests (no. 1231/1232). Furniture vintage.
