Le Corbusier invited Perriand Charlotte to join the team for the development of France’s Les Arcs ski resorts. Charlotte Perriand has been working for no less than ten years on Les Arcs 1800, which opened in 1974. The most iconic design became the Perriand chair and Perriand stool in chromed tubular steel and saddle leather. Charlotte Perriand headed the team, which is why the Les Arcs chair stool is attributed to her for convenience.
